Assessment
Assessment is a two way process. Students need to be given explicit information aobut assessment criteria and an excellent way to do this is a rubric and they can then assess the learning activities provided to them by the teacher in the same way or via an online survey. I have chosen to provide two generic rubrics for these purposes.
I like the following generic web design rubric which can be adapted for student use by teachers. However, students should be given this information at the beginning of the task and the information should be made explicit to the students from the beginning of tasks in this website. Student Rubric (Schrock 2009).
A rubric for assessment by the teacher's unit of work here is an example once again this is generic and would need to be adapted Rubric for teachers or you can try one of the online surveys for example Survey Monkey (Survey Monkey 2009).These should be adapted for individual tasks by the teachers.
